All CME Certificates will be distributed at the end of the course after completing an online evaluation form. This will be sent 7-10 business days after the completion of the course.


FOR TECHNOLOGISTS

Up to a maximum of 12.25 SVU-Continuing Medical Education (SVU-CME) credit hours are available on an hour-for-hour basis from SVU and may be used to fulfill the continuing education requirements necessary to retain your RVT credential with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers® (ARDMS®), your RVS credential with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or your lab’s accreditation with the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), or the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of Cincinnati and the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. The University of Cincinnati is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Cincinnati designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 12.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

All registrants will be given a DVD/CD of each speaker’s available presentations during the course. Some sessions may not have handouts as some presenters may elect not to allow their presentations to be distributed. Attendees are urged to bring a laptop to view the DVD/CD during the presentations. Power strips will be available.
