It has been an amazing first time experience at the 2014 SVU Annual Conference.

My top ten favorites:

1. Meeting faculty and the fabulous 2014 Board of Directors. Thank you Thomas Stefaniak for welcoming and introducing me to many people.
2. Visiting vendors and learning about their programs or new technology. Thank you Philips Healthcare, GE Healthcare, CCI, VascuLab, Parks, Hokanson, Siemens, and many more!
3. Lectures about fascinating case studies.
4. Poster abstracts that gave information on cases I have never heard of before. Shout out to Asia Biles for doing an amazing job on her poster!
5. Student Luncheon that was supported by ARDMS was a great way to connect with our vascular students as well as the Student Board Representative Kayla Wieseckel.
6. Concurrent sessions that you could choose which session sparked your interest. I was most interested in the session on MSK with Gurjit Kaeley which was supported by Philips Healthcare.
7. As a student blogger I was able to connect with a lot of the SVU Board of Directors including the current President of SVU, Patricia Poe.
8. The Technical Theater was a great session to attend I was able to learn about services, software and new technology.
9. The Transcranial Doppler session with Dr. Garami was a very informative session that provided us with some hands-on expereince.
10. The location of the conference provided easy access to Disney World and the Contemporary Resort had a wide variety of attractions to attend at the hotel as well.

Thank you everyone that was a part of this fabulous conference and I hope to see all of you next year. Students, if you're thinking about coming to the 2015 SVU Annual Conference, please do!

Everyone, safe travels and until next time!
