The 2015 Annual Conference was such a success! I learned a lot and met so many amazing people, from first year students to leaders that are moving into retirement. I encourage you to spend the next few months thinking about interesting cases and topics that you would like to present and keep your eyes open for the abstract submissions to open later this year.

As the 2015 Student Board Representative, this was a big weekend. The day before the Annual Conference we have an annual board meeting that lasts all day. At this meeting, we share and receive updates about special projects and action items. We have guests from different credentialing and accreditation organizations come in to share updates that will be important information for our members. It is a long day that is full of important decisions and information.

Educators and clinical instructors, please encourage your students to apply for the 2016 Student Board Representative position. Students, definitely apply because it's the perfect time to bring the voice of a new member to the board. It has been an amazing educational experience full of networking and professional growth opportunities. Applications are due by July 31st, 2015.
