Hello all! My name is Agnes Lovell and I am the 2015 SVU student representative. I am looking forward to attending the Society for Vascular Ultrasound's 2015 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada and sharing the experience with you all through the Annual Conference Blog. The preliminary program shows that the Annual Conference will be full of engaging sessions, fascinating case studies, and interesting presentations at the technology theater an hands-on demonstrations.

While our weekend will be full of learning and networking, I plan on taking some time to enjoy the Las Vegas dining. There are literally hundreds of restaurants to choose from, I often visit tripadvisor or Las Vegas Eater to find places to dine. Luckily we won't have to go far to enjoy cuisines from around the world at the Paris Hotel and Casino and Bally's.

For a quick bite, Nosh Deli in Bally's offers bagels, wraps, sandwiches, salads and pastries on-the-go. They're open 24 hours so you can grab a late night snack or a fast breakfast before the conference.

Bally's is also the home to SEA: The Thai Experience, as seen in Sex and the City with their original New York location. This restaurant is a treat for diners looking for Thai and Vietnamese flavors. The lychee martini and lemongrass chicken look amazing! They are open for lunch,  dinner and late night from 11am-2 am.

The Paris Hotel houses Steve Martorano's second Las Vegas restaurant Martorano's Italian Restaurant. The chef is from South Philadelphia and combines his East coast heritage with classic Italian food. Martorano's is known to be bustling with a DJ playing music and classic movies playing on screens around the bar and restaurant.

Since the 2015 Annual Conference is at the Paris Hotel and Conference Center, you must have French food! There are several choices including La Creperie for a casual bite, and Mon Ami Gabi which boasts some of the best views on the Las Vegas Strip. Mon Ami Gabi has views of the Bellagio fountains and the bustling sidewalks while being well recognized for serving amazing French fare like escargots and steak frites. Bon appétite!

I can't wait to see you all at the 2015 Annual Conference, please come say "hi" and we can talk about all the places to eat on the Las Vegas Strip.
